Knight of the Month for February - Bill Conry
All of us owe Bill a huge thank you. He was able to recruit a new member. Council 1344 has been around for 117 years. For us to continue to help the parish and community, we need more members to follow Bill’s lead. Council 1244 thanks you Bill.
Family of the Month for February - Will and Pat Wagner
Huge thank you to these two for all they do for the parish and council. Thank you, Will, for attending the Ohio State Council Super Cash Bonanza meeting. Our council will receive .20 cents more on first turn-in rebate because we had two members attend. I have the Super Cash Bonanza tickets. Last year, our Council sold 303 tickets. Let’s shoot for 400 this year. Overall, Ohio Knights were able to raise over 1 million dollars for charity. First turn-in is April 1. Have all sold tickets and money to me by Monday, March 24. The more tickets we turn in, the more money we get back.
Volunteers Needed
We need some volunteers for the Baked Steak Dinner this Saturday after the 4:30 p.m. mass. This is a fundraiser for the Unborn monument.
Other Reminders:
2025 Priest Appreciation Dinner is April 29. If anyone is interested, see me for information. St. Johns Parish, Defiance, has two- one day retreats on March 1 and March 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I have brochures for anyone interested. Thank you all for your contributions to our Parish and Council.
